In this interview in the Economist Austin Williams speaks about the book 'The Lure of the City', that he wrote together with Alastair Donald. We, at B01 arquitectes, share his interest for cities as places of progress, efficiency and social interaction. For these reasons we consider teh city as intrinsically sustainable.

At the same time we denounce the 'greenwashing' that is taking place lately in architecture and urbanism: the arguments for new flashy projects that pretend to be 'eco-cities', are in general no greener than good old London. Take the congestion charge zone: an administrative intervention that has brought together human comfort, noise reduction and a decrease of CO2 emisions.
